5 Step Light Gauge Steel Framing Production Process

Jobsite has teamed up with top engineers and builders to create a simple five step production process for framing with light gauge steel studs. This process has been tested and proven to yield superior steel framing results.

modeling

1. Modeling / Framing
A building is designed and engineered to clients specifications. All framing is analyzed for compliance with the relevant building code.

production

2. Steel Stud Production
Electronic Cut To Length files of the framing are downloaded to the PS600 steel stud machine. The machine communicates with the Keymark software for real time assembly of trusses and wall panels.

fabrication

3. Fabrication
The trusses and wall panels are fabricated directly in the factory. The Virtek Laser System projects the precise location of studs, joints, headers, sheathing, nail pattern, connector plates and other sub-components.

erection

4. Steel Framing Erection
Erection begins after the trusses and wall panels are delivered directly to the jobsite. A training program is implemented for the construction of prefabricated pieces.

management

5. Management
The Jobsite in-house software controls the complete schedule of purchasing, production, shipping and erection of all the components including doors, windows, backing, beams and pack items.
